How to Install an Expert Advisor (EA) on MT5

Installing an EA on your MetaTrader platform is straightforward. Follow these steps:

1. Open the Platform

Launch your MT5 terminal on your computer.

2. Open the Data Folder

From the top menu, click on File → Open Data Folder

3. Navigate to the EA Directory

    : Open the

    MQL5

    folder, then open the

    Experts

    folder

4. Add Your EA File

Locate the EA file on your computer (usually .ex5 for MT5) and drag it into the Experts folder

5. Restart the Platform

Close and relaunch your MT5 terminal to load the new EA

6. Activate the EA

Your Expert Advisor should now appear in the Navigator panel (on the left side of the screen).
Drag it onto your chart and enable AutoTrading to start using it.

🛠️ For advanced settings, right-click the EA in the Navigator panel and select Modify or Properties.
