How to Check Your Account Balance in MT5

‍MT5 platforms offer a detailed and real-time snapshot of your trading account, including:

• Balance

  – The amount in your account excluding open trades

• Equity

  – Your current balance including profit/loss from open positions

• Margin

  – The funds locked to maintain open trades

• Free Margin

Where to Find This Information

To check your account balance and other key figures:

1. Open your

   MetaTrader platform

2. Go to the

   Terminal

   window at the bottom

3. Click the

   “Trade”

   tab

Here you’ll see all your active positions and a summary of your account metrics.

View Past Transactions and Closed Trades

If you want to check your account history:

• Click the

  “History”

  tab in the same

  Terminal

  section

• You’ll find all closed trades, deposits, withdrawals, and a breakdown of your historical performance
